Andrea Pitter, Brooklyn born designer of Jamaican decent was very creative growing up, from outfitting her dolls at age four to making paper bag vest at age six. Her parents knew she was a true gem in the making. At age fourteen she found herself at the High School of Fashion Industries in Manhattan, where she excelled, by her sophomore year at Fashion Industries she had taken her first order as a fashion designer! Andrea graduated with honors at Fashion Industries and was accepted into Fashion Institute of Technology. There she noticed a major shift in competitive nature; everyone in her environment worked hard and had passion that couldn’t be ignored but she refused to fall behind the large crowd of eager young designers trying to “make it.” Andrea's designs are gracing the pages and sites of top model agencies for model portfolio, just to name a few Elite, Major, Supreme, and Trump model management. Andrea Pitter is continuing her studies at FIT while maintaining her business of woman and children’s ready to wear and is still being commissioned to create one of a kind pieces.
